YELLE experiments with ombre for the first look: first Violetta, a bright violet purple shade of MAC lipstick as the base coat, and plays around with Cyber, a deep dark plum with a satin finish, which gives off a slight sheen. She directly layers Cyber on the middle of the lower and top lip, and finishes by pressing her lips together for an even blend. Next, YELLE creates a vibrant party lip, using MAC’s Full Fuchsia, a vivid pink-red shade with an opaque cream finish. She then uses a 228 rounded edge brush dipped in MAC pigment in Fuchsia, a dark pink with a light shimmer layered right over the lipstick Full Fuchsia, focusing on the middle of the lower and top lip, creating a 3-D effect.
