Radar: Kate Nash 

We had a blast hanging out with Kate when she was in NYC in support of her all girl band and her newest album Girl Talk. Kate was super playful and showed us her best American girl impression, so funny! She talked to us about her cute sin - retail therapy, how her sound has changed, her love for bass, and her hopes to encourage girls to start a band feel like “I can see myself doing that.”

BEAUTY QUEEN: SPRING LIP TRENDS WITH YELLE + MAC

On this episode of Beauty Queen, French electronic pop singer YELLE walks us through two stage-inspired spring looks from MAC. YELLE experiments with ombre for the first look: first Violetta, a bright violet purple shade of MAC lipstick as the base coat, and plays around with Cyber, a deep dark plum with a satin finish, which gives off a slight sheen. She directly layers Cyber on the middle of the lower and top lip, and finishes by pressing her lips together for an even blend. Next, YELLE creates a vibrant party lip, using MAC’s Full Fuchsia, a vivid pink-red shade with an opaque cream finish. She then uses a 228 rounded edge brush dipped in MAC pigment in Fuchsia, a dark pink with a light shimmer layered right over the lipstick Full Fuchsia, focusing on the middle of the lower and top lip, creating a 3-D effect. So cute and super ready for Spring.
